Everything was organized in detail, from accommodations to travel, with great professionalism and attention to our needs. Our driver/guide Abdou was fantastic. I highly recommend it!Posted on Tripadvisor nickVerified Nice Tour to the Sahara with Abdou My wife and I had an incredible experience to the sahara desert. Our Tour Guide Abdou was nice, funny and adapted the plans to our wishes. It was very nice and we highly recommend AbdouPosted on Tripadvisor Tammie PVerified New Year's Chill Solo Trip I waited a little over a month to write this review for a reason. This personal trip was about regrouping and thinking for what's ahead for 2025. I chose The Edgewater because I took my kids and grandkid there the weekend prior to Christmas for festivities in Seattle, and I saw an awesome TikTok about the hotel. That marketing strategy definitely reeled me into the property. In that first stay, we had the opportunity to be in a water suite on one day and city suite the second day, which wasn't originally planned but was an amazing opportunity for my family and me. On this second trip, it was all about me. I scheduled a nice hotel room with city views, which did not disappoint. The room was elegant and the bathroom was beautiful with it's mountainous stone decor. The shower gave the right pressure of hot water, which is a plus if you want to relax in a steam like environment. The part of this review takes a negative into a positive turn. After placing my bags into my room, I headed to the bar for a drink. Sat at the bar and asked the young bartender for a chocolate martini, something different on the last day of the year. He just arrived on shift, and said he would be happy to oblige. However, someone above him came to him to say that the bar was closed and they were closed until the New Year's gathering in the bar / restaurant. There was no sign that the bar was closed due to patrons sitting in the lounge area of the bar and restaurant. When the person who stopped the bartender at the beginnings of making the drink decided to not accommadate, I went to the front desk to state to maybe it would be best to add signage for all guests to know that the bar was closed and to ensure that front staff and all staff were aware prior to shift of the bar being closed for guests staying at the hotel. After that time, I never returned to the bar for the duration of my stay, and ordered room service the entirety of that time. I went there for alone time, I got it. I explained all of this to say, business is business but in customer service and hospitality, all guests should be accommodated on simple requests, such as making a drink on the last day of the year. The highs were the rest of the staff that made my stay very welcoming - LaRelle, Jesse, Lydia, Dave, Thomas, Selena, and Gabe. Those that work in wait staff, valet, and the resturant staff that brought my food order to my room both New Year's night and New Year's morning; both were wonderful people and very friendly. The Edgewater is a beautiful, serene, and elegant property located perfectly on the Elliott Bay. The views are gorgeous, and my favorite views are on the water. I gave a five star for both visits within one week of each other. Would I come back again? I would because staff can either make or break a trip, and the staff there (outside of the one) made the trip for me.Posted on Tripadvisor Jan KVerified Tour through Marrakesh with dinner Had an awesome time in Marrakesh! We travel through atlas mountains, rose valley, atlas studio, dades valley. We trekked into the Sahara via camel ride, stayed in a luxury tent, which has private shower and toilet. We enjoyed homemade Berber pizza! Which was the best food we enjoyed in Morocco. The family was so welcoming and the pizza was simple and savoy! We stayed in one tent and two hotels, dinners and breakfast was included. Our guide Abdul was awesome. If you plan to go. Then book it. It was a safe trip, people were wonderful, food was good, I loved the pizza and the tagines! Pictures and memories are once in a life time. Since it was a luxury tour, we were able to adjust what we wanted to see.
